Business Valuation

What's It Worth?

One of the most challenging tasks facing a business owner is determining the value of his or her business interest. As independent advisors with years of litigation support, accounting, tax, and advisory experience, our business valuation group is well qualified to report on the value of interests in privately owned businesses. We tailor each valuation engagement to the attributes of the particular business interest being valued. We consider the qualitative aspects of the business and the numbers, but more importantly we consider quantitative factors that contribute to the intangible value of the business, such as the industry in which the business operates, personnel and market forces.

John McSoley holds the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Business Valuation designation, a prestigious designation awarded to CPA’s who have met strenuous requirements, including a rigorous exam.

McSoley McCoy & Co. is qualified to provide business valuation services in a variety of industries and in the various circumstances when a valuation is needed. Our experienced staff and commitment to quality result in valuations that are impartial and reliable.

We have successfully defended our business valuations before Internal Revenue Service and in federal and state courts.
